Verify your identity

On the following pages you will be asked to verify your identity.

Before you proceed:



  1. Please refer to the GreenID Navigation Guide which is located on the Resources tab on the Secure Employee Portal, to assist you with the identity verification check.

  2. Please have an Australian/New Zealand identity document ready before you begin, such as your driver's licence or passport.

  3. Please have your Case ID (e.g. BHP1234567) from the Secure Employee Portal at hand. Your Case ID begins with BHP followed by 7-digits and is located on the top left corner on the 'Employee Details' tab.

  4. We recommend that you use your mobile phone to complete this process, instead of your laptop/desktop, as this will enable a better image to be captured during the identity verification process.


Please DO NOT complete your identity verification check more than once. The BHP Payroll Review team will review the initial identity verification check you submit and will contact you if any further information/another ID check is required.


The information which you provide may be required to be retained by BHP and disclosed to relevant regulatory authorities. Deloitte will only retain your personal information for the duration of supporting this review and will delete it upon completion.


You have various rights in relation to your personal information, including the right to seek access to, or to correct your information.
